Tableau Desktop Specialist 자격증 시험 준비 - Domain3

벌써 반이 넘게 공부했다! Domain 3에서는 어떻게 보면 조금 모호할 수 있는 부분을 공부하게 된다. 이부분에서는 Tableau에서 sheet와 dashboard를 작성하고나서 다양한 기능들을 통해 인사이트를 얻는 방법에 대해 공부한다.

Domain3 내용

✔️ 3.1 Formant veiw for presentation

3.1.1 Use color

• Gradient는 continuous 필드을 나타낼 때 사용하는 색깔이다.

• Different color은 discrete 필드를 나타낼 때 사용하는 색깔이다.

• Mark에 continuous 필드를 추가하면, Tableau는 gradient color과 함께 이어져 있는 quantitative legend를 보여준다.
• 어두울수록 더 높은 값을 가진다.

• olor 사용 방법 : 

  Marks card → Select Color → Edit Colors → From the Select → Color Palette select any of the desired option → From the select Data item choose desired color for each of the measure → Apply → O

 

 

3.1.2 Use Bolding and Selecting fonts

• Click cell → Format → Header – Default
• Tooltip → click – Formatting

→ Default에서 폰트를 선택했을 경우, Tooltip은 적용이 안된다.

 

 

 

3.1.3 Legend

• Select Analysis → Legends → Color Legend
• Select Worksheet → Show Cards → Reset Cards
• Right-click in the space below the Marks card and select Legends → Color Legend

 

 

 

3.1.4 Use Shapes

• continuous – 연속형 값(two measures)에서 dimension의 위치를 표시할 때 ‘shape’을 사용함.
• 사용 방법: Click on shapes in the marks area → select Data Item and shape icon you want apply → 모양 수정 가능
• Scatter plot, Circle View에서 사용가능

 

 

 

3.1.5 Change size of marks

• 값의 크기에 따라 모양이 달라짐.
• 가장 중요한 measure이 반드시 x와 y축에 있어야 하고, 덜 중요한 측정은 색상이나 크기로 시각화 할 수 있다.
• 트리맵은 사이즈로 조절할 수 없다. (애초의 값의 크기에 따라 달라지기 때문에 어떠한 부분의 사이즈를 조절할 수 없음)

 

 

 

✔️ 3.2 Viz animation 

• 차트의 변화에 따라 애니메이션을 적용할 수 있음.
• Format(서식) -> Animation(애니메이션) 선택 Workbook Default는 기본값 (어디서나 적용) / Selected Sheet (시트에 따라 적용)
• Sequential(순차) – first change size and move. 컴플렉스 차트를 스텝바이 스텝으로 보여주고 싶을 때, 오래 걸림
• Simultaneous(동시) – default 이며 심플하고 더 빠르다. 동시에 작동됨.
• provide gradual transitions when change is made to a visualization(Viz 애니메이션은 시각화에 변화가 있을 때 점진적인 트랜지션(기간)을 주는 기능이다.)
• Transition can be sequential (where one element at a time changes) or simultaneous (where all elements change together) (트랜지션(기간)은 순차(하나의 요소가 차례로 변화)혹은 동시(모든 요소가 동시에 변화)가 될 수 있다.
• Animation options can be set at the workbook or worksheet level
  (애니메이션 옵션은 워크북 혹은 워크시트 차원에서 설정될 수 있다.
• Separate sheet로 따로 적용 가능
• workbook default로 모두 적용

 

 

✔️ 3.3 Create and modify a dashboard

3.3.1 interactive filter

• worksheet에서 만든 필터를 대시보드에서도 적용해서 쓸 수 있다.
• 대시보드에 있는 시각화 자료들 모두, 혹은 하나의 시각화 자료 에만 필터를 적용할 수도 있다.

 

 

3.3.2 Dashboard Layout

• 모든 시트를 싱글뷰로 보이기 위해 만듬
• Tiled : 바둑판식
• Floating : 부동
• 필터나 카테고리를 위에 줄이 두 개가 있는 곳을 잡고 움직임
• 대시보드 레이아웃을 디바이스를 이용해서 바꾸기
• 디폴트 레이아웃이 좋음 왜냐하면 디바이스를 정하는 순간 어느 디바이스에서도 설정한 레이아웃으로 보여짐
• Size phone에서는 fit width 사용을 추천함
• Fixed size, range, automatic 배치

 

 

3.3.3 Dashboard Action

• Go to URL : 연결된 웹피이지, 파일, 웹기반 소스로 이동
• Hyperlink 삽입
• Filter, Highlight, Go to URL, Go to Sheet, Change Parameter, Change Set Values 

 

 

 

3.3.4 Creating Story

 

• Story points는 뷰어가 집중했으면하는 구체적인 인사이트를 바로 보여주는 역할을 한다.
• 한번의 story에 하나의 worksheet or dashboard만 사용 가능하며, 여러 story에 동일한 worksheet가 사용 될 수 있다.
• Navigator Style에는 ⓵ Caption boxes(캡션 상자): 텍스트 박스 형태로 클릭 ⓶ Number(숫자): 스토리 번호 ⓷ Dots(점): 점으로 탐색 ⓸Arrows only: 화살표로 표시 가 있다.
